For the moon never beams, without bringing me dreams
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And the stars never rise, but I feel the bright eyes
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side
Of my darling--my darling--my life and my bride,
In her sepulchre there by the sea,
In her tomb by the sounding sea.

~ "Annabel Lee" by Edgar Allan Poe

This custom blended fragrance is inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's "Annabel Lee", the narrator, who fell in love with Annabel Lee when they were young, has a love for her so strong that even angels are envious. He retains his love for her even after her death.

Fragrance - salty ocean breezes upon the night mist, carrying the crisp green fragrant wisps of seaweed and green ferns, while watery florals of lotus and cyclamen linger in the air. English roses and peonies, tokens of affection from a mournful lover, lay atop a stone sepulchre that contains the single pine coffin of the beautiful Annabel Lee. Tendrils of green rose stems, pine needles, sprigs of lavender, and hyacinth emanate from within the crypt by the sea.

Key notes - English roses, Rose stems, Peony, Ocean mist, Lavender, Hyacinth, Seaweed, Fern, Pine, Damp wood, Stone sepulcher

It’s more the impression of standing on a rocky cliff overlooking the ocean as rose petals swirl around you.. as it dries down, the green and w... See more

The hyacinth overpowers the rose a bit in my opinion, but it's still a nice scent. Just wish it was more rose-forward!

When I was about 17 I, being your average angsty teenager, fell absolutely in love with Poe’s poetry, specifically The Bells and Annabel Lee. I even slept with an anthology of Poe’s works under my pillow for a time. Needless to say, when I discovered there existed a perfume named after my favorite poem I knew I had to try it... See more

It was a gift for my daughter who loves rose scented anything. She adores the fragrance and I might buy myself some too! :p... See more
