Amaranthine is rooted in the Greek words amarantos, meaning "immortal" or "unfading," and anthos, meaning "flower." The word amaranthine is used to describe anything possessing an undying quality or beauty. It is in emotionally dark and trying times that the soul seeks, and even demands, light and beauty, hope, and reassurance that the love we give and receive never dies. I created the Amaranthine collection as a panacea for the weary soul that seeks something delicate, ethereal, uplifting and beautiful even if fleeting. ETERNE (Eternity)- Creamy notes of blooming magnolia dances upon a golden oriental base framed by pale patchouli, sweet amber, seductive sandalwood, and the heart of a citrus zest. The calming aura of magnolia meets the nectar sweetness of the velvety blooms from the flame mimosa tree and a sophisticated floral accord of wild rose and tea rose that vies for attention but never dominates the demure magnolia. Labdanum lingers subtly in the background, enhancing the florals and blending them together in a barely detectable warmth that enhances the amber of the oriental base.
